Reed Nutrition
I received my first bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences from the Pennsylvania State University in 2010. I went on to manage for a local agribusiness. During this time, my passion for local agriculture, food, and my community continued to grow. I returned to Penn State in 2017 and completed my bachelor's in Nutritional Sciences, followed by my Master's in Nutritional Sciences while completing my dietetic internship as one of the first classes of FEM students, and Penn State's first class. My capstone project was creating undergraduate coursework training dietitians to be liaisons of agriculture and food in their everyday work. Shortly after, I obtained my RDN and LDN credential. My underlying philosophy is rooted in my love of food. I aspire to connect people with their food and help them understand where and how their food is grown and raised. I hope you see this reflected in my food-forward educational resources. For some clients, dietary modifications are inevitable, but I choose to focus on promoting the positive changes they can make.
