Physician Outreach Packet mock up

This template is for private practice dietitians who struggle with the idea of cold-calling and networking with physicians.

Walking into a physician’s office and announcing who you are and that you want to speak with a doctor feels intrusive. It never felt natural to me, so I could never bring myself to do it. I created this packet for myself to send to doctors as a way of getting my name out in the local medical community without having to be salesperson. The BIGGEST reason I did this was because I truly wanted to be an asset to the doctors, and not an intrusion.

I was shocked at the responses I received. The doctors were thrilled to know that I existed for their specific patients’ needs. They were also very grateful that I wanted to communicate with them, and not override their suggestions blindly as many doctors fear from dietitians.

With this packet you’ll…

  • Save non-billable time by not having to create your own packet from scratch
  • Get your name out into your local community
  • Build rapport with your patient’s’ doctors
  • Become a trusted asset
  • Position yourself as an authority in your field of expertise within your community.
  • Increase your referrals whether you are private pay or insurance-based

This is a link to a Canva Template so you will need at least the free version to edit. I luckily have the pro version. It is 3 usable pages with detailed explanation of how to and tips. I was hoping for a thank you or follow up letter to the MD as well. Overall worth the $10 so I do not have to spend the time making this in Canva or Word on my own. I edited it in about 10 min.
