I’ve created this outline of the 10 principles of intuitive eating to help patients connect the dots and easily identify what goes into each intuitive eating principle.
I use this with patients to
- Create a better understanding of the intuitive eating principle
- Determine which principles they feel like they’ve mastered and which they still feel need work
- Easily assess whether they feel each concept is a strength or are or area of struggle for patients
- Work through each principle to determine if they are ready for gentle nutrition
