Have you had patient after patient telling you just how unhappy they are with their bodies? I have noticed that regardless of the reason for the visit (weight management, eating disorder, PCOS, diabetes, etc.) body image is a consistent theme in my sessions with clients.  At the start of my private practice journey I was over my head ambitious to help my clients improve their body image, but didn’t really know where to start. As I dove head first into these conversation I was able to gather themes and create exercises. After about 6 months of listening and gathering, the body image workbook was born!

When someone is very interested in improving their relationship with their body I will break up the workbook and assign a few pages at a time. Other-times, when clients are more hesitant to dive into it on their own, I will use certain pages of the workbook just to open up conversation on this topic!
