Nutrition 101 one hour workshop includes:

  • Handouts on:
    • What each macronutrient is and does
    • How to build a plate
    • Ideas for healthy budget friendly staples
    • 3 day meal plan (2 different ones! One with a kitchen and one without)
    • Grocery list, meal planning, and budgeting template
    • Tips and resources
    • Easy oatmeal jar recipes  

The curriculum will provide participants with a foundational understanding of the basics of nutrition – what are carbs, fat, and protein, and how to plan meals and build a plate.

This workshop takes a HAES and Intuitive Eating approach – there are not references to calories, restriction, good/bad foods, or dieting. 

The workshop can take anywhere from 45 minute to one hour.
