These hunger & full scales are separated into individual scales – one is dedicated solely to hunger and one is dedicated to fullness as they are two different physical sensations.

These scales are modified from MB-EAT (mindfulness based eating awareness training) and are different from the intuitive eating hunger/fullness scale which illustrates hunger and fullness on one scale.

These are great mindful eating tools to use with your adult clients to get them to tune into their internal hunger and fullness cues. With the two versions of the scale, you can teach clients about hunger and fullness sensations separately.

The scales and illustrations make it easier to visually understand what the client would feel at different stages of hunger and fullness, and the supporting text dives deeper into the detail of the scales.

This is an excellent resource to use with the general adult population as well as autistic adults as their interoceptive skills (and ability to recognize hunger and fullness) are often lacking.
