I am a firm believer that it is best to meet the client where they are at to build healthier, more sustainable food habits. I believe that helping those clients that mostly eat out become more aware of the foods they are eating and the nutrition content of those foods can really help them prioritize their health. 

The clients I have worked with have been able to use these handouts to help them make better food choices at places they commonly eat at during their week. They have reported having an increase in mindfulness of their selection of foods and find themselves more frequently choosing healthier options than their usual options. Clients have reported that this is a great “cheat sheet” for them to use when they are at fast food restaurants and it helps them choose healthier options not only for themselves, but also for their family members. 

This fast food resource guide contains 6 different food choices from menus from 5 different fast food restaurants (McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Chick-fil-a, Taco Bell, and Arby’s). The 6 food choice for the different fast food restaurants are on separate handouts for each restaurant. Each food choice also includes the amount of calories, grams of carbs, grams of fats, grams of protein, and milligrams of sodium.

Your clients will be able to use this “cheat sheet” to help them make healthier choices when eating out and hopefully improve their health!
