This handout is a neutral approach to a classic nutrition education handout. This plate visual provides loose guidance on main components to include at meal times. With all handouts there is always an emphasis that this is never prescriptive. I wanted to highlight that within each food group there is more to food choices than just what nutrients it provides. Food should be joyful, flavorful, comforting and satisfying.
