Moderate training plates are an athlete’s baseline for nutrition needs. Adjust up based on training intensity, carb-loading for race/event, etc.

  • Moderate training day with 1 workout in the AM
  • Moderate training day with 1 workout in the afternoon 
  • Moderate training day with 2 workouts (1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon)
    • This may reflect 1 light workout (more skill based) and one higher intensity workout

Hard training plates may be applicable for carbohydrate loading for race, event or game in the next 72 hours. This may also reflect ultra-endurance training where one workout is >2 hours in duration.
