This resource provides an easy guide for patients/clients to plan their meals. It outlines what counts as a serving across multple food groups along with recommended servings per day (provided as a range to allow for customization).

Each food group includes:

  • serving size
  • approximate calories per serving
  • visual example of that serving size

In addition, each food group (Fruits, Vegetables, Starches and Protein) contains a food list. This can help patients plan out their meals include food groups in balance.  It can also be used to explore new foods for picky eaters or those looking to expand their pallet.
