Sure, everyone knows that vitamin D is important for their health, but most clients or patients aren’t sure if they are getting enough of the sunshine vitamin daily. Many parents are familiar with adding vitamin D drops to breastmilk or using vitamin D fortified infant formulas, but once their children grow to toddler age, they are not sure if their child is getting enough vitamin D anymore.
As an RD and mother, I had some of these same questions! To make it easier for my clients and patients, I created this 3 page, easy to read handout for speaking with parents and caregivers of pediatric patients or clients. The handout addresses the most common questions I hear about vitamin D and children, such as:
- What is Vitamin D
- Vitamin D deficiency, groups at higher risk of deficiency
- Sources of Vitamin D
- Daily requirements for children
This 3 page PDF does not include any logos or branding. It’s beautifully designed and ready for you to use in your practice!
